Litter Picking Equipment Loan Service

Barry Town Council is proud to be a Keep Wales Tidy Litter Hub

Keep Wales Tidy currently have 200 litter pick hubs, of which Barry Town Council are pleased to be included.

This means that businesses, organisations and individuals can loan litter picking equipment from us free of charge. So if you are a business or group looking to complete a Team Building activity or would like to carry out a Corporate Social Responsibility event, please contact us. we can accommodate groups of up to 40 persons

This service is completely free and in the last year alone, over 150 bags of rubbish have been collected as a result!

You can borrow:

• Hi-Viz vests – Adults and Children’s available
• Litter-Picking Grabbers – Adults and Children’s available
• Red Litter Bags, with instructions where you can leave these bags.
• Red Litter bag Hoops

To borrow equipment contact us, telling us when you want the equipment and when you would like to return it – for example collect on a Friday and return on the Monday.

Barry Town Council are also committed to running group litter picks through the year, these tend to be one a month, on a Sunday, April through September or October. Please let us know if you would like to be included in these group events or monitor our Social Media for dates.

Information collected via the lending form, will be shared with Keep Wales Today, and may be used in Barry Town Council updates.
