Governors are volunteers who work closely with the Headteacher and school staff and are part of the overall leadership and management of a school.
Barry Town Council is responsible for appointing Minor Authority Representative (MAR) Governors in local primary schools.
The role of an MAR is a voluntary, four-year, position which involves attending school meetings and reporting findings to the Council.
