Barry Town Council’s new Halloween Which Craft is coming to King Square
Barry Town Council has announced a new Halloween event, for the community to enjoy on Tuesday 31 October 2023. The event “Halloween Which Craft” will take place on King Square, Central Park and the Town Hall from 10am until 1pm, on Halloween itself to offer a Spooktacular time for all.
The event will host a variety of fun activities for all ages to enjoy, including a mini movie marathon, face stencils, crafts, workshops, photo booth and more. There will be no entry fee with a number of the activities being free or very affordable.
Children, adults and furry friends* are all welcome to attend and dress up in fancy dress too! If you embrace the spooky dress code, you can enter the fancy dress competition with a chance to win a great prize from a local trader of your choice.
Leader of Barry Town Council, Cllr Bronwen Brooks, said “I am delighted that Barry Town Council are offering a low cost Halloween Event for the community to enjoy. The event will be held during Half Term, which is great for parents and children to get out into the town centre, Shop Local and enjoy the variety of activities that the event will offer. I look forward to seeing you there.”
Also joining the event, offering a fun workshop is Black Mountain Falconry. Birds of Prey will settle into Central Park, allowing you to book onto a session to hear stories, ask questions and take a few photos. Sessions will be free and bookable via barrytowncouncil.gov.uk – booking is essential.
The Town Hall will host a mini movie marathon in the Council Chamber, transforming into the little theatre of horrors! This spooky cinema will feature short films for ages 0+, also including an autism friendly screening. Tickets are now sold out.
