Temporary Change to Office Opening Hours

Due to a significant increase in anti-social behaviour on King Square over the past week, including incidents of verbal abuse and threats towards our staff, Barry Town Council has taken the difficult but necessary decision to temporarily change our office opening hours for in-person visits.

Our offices at Town Hall will now be open:

Monday to Friday
8:30am to 3:00pm

We will continue to respond to telephone calls and emails after 3:00pm each day.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. However, the safety and wellbeing of our staff must come first, and we will not tolerate any form of abuse towards them.

If you are unable to visit during these revised opening hours, please contact us on 01446 738663 or by email at info@barrytowncouncil.gov.uk and we will arrange a suitable appointment time.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
