Get Involved

There are so many ways that you can get involved with our work here at Barry Town Council.

Members of the public are welcome to attend meetings of Council with these being advertised on our website, in Council noticeboards, across our social medias and in Barry Library. You can also ask us questions and time for public participation is allowed at all Council meetings.

Our Shop Local Barry Advisory Committee and Fairtrade Advisory Committee are slightly different though! These Committees are welcome to the public to attend and also become members of. So, if any of these groups interest you or you would like to know more, please contact the Engagement and Events Team (engagementandevents@barrytowncouncil.gov.uk.

Barry Town Council also consult on a number of proposals, issues and strategies. You will find details of these  here when they become available, or email us at Info@barrytowncouncil.gov.uk to be placed on our contact list and be notified directly to your inbox.

The Town Council is constantly improving and growing the way in which it engages, so if you would like to be notified of more opportunities to work with us as and when they become available – please contact us on info@barrytowncouncil.gov.uk to register your interest.
