Climate Change Action Plan
Barry Town Council fully acknowledged the Climate Emergency and committed itself to working towards net zero carbon by 2030 to alleviate climate change and support the prosperity of its community.
A 6-week public consultation on the new Climate Change Action Plan took place on Monday 15 March 2021 to Friday 23 April 2021. Councillor Clarke and Sustainable Barry Project Officer discussed and consulted with local residents, businesses, community groups, schools and young people, as it was of the utmost importance to the wellbeing of all people in Barry and of our future generations that we heard the views from a wide range of people in our community.
