This year the UK has found itself in an unprecedented position as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic that has meant additional challenges for the Council both operationally and financially as a result of incurring additional expenditure but also from a loss of income. There is huge uncertainty as to how the picture will develop over the coming months and therefore it is even more difficult than usual to provide predications for the coming year and beyond as income streams could again be affected due to Covid-19 preventative measures. The Council has attempted to set a budget with minimal impact on rising costs to the tax payer. The pdf attached provides details of our full budget and associated breakdowns.
