Mace BearerBARRY TOWN COUNCIL Requires a MACE BEARER

Due to the retirement of the Incumbent

The successful applicant should have dignified bearing and have a pride in the town of Barry, be able to carry the historic Mace and accompany the Mayor of Barry on civic occasions throughout the year (usually three events a year).

Robes and hat will be supplied.

This is an ancient post of considerable distinction for which you will be paid £8.75 per hour. This rate is based on the “Living Wage”, as Barry Town Council is a registered Living Wage Employer
