Mission Statement

The Council’s objective in delivering local services is to manage its services, assets and resources as skilfully and effectively as possible for the benefit of the local community by:

1. Providing high quality, efficient and cost effective services.
2. Providing a channel for the views and aspirations of the local community.
3. Being responsive to the needs and aspirations of the local community.
4. Promoting the Council and the town of Barry locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.
5. Developing partnership and agency working with the public and private sectors, to help ensure the best use of resources for the benefit of the local community.
