Recycling
The kerbside collection service alternates plastic/cardboard one week, and paper/glass/cans the next. Plastic recycling boxes available free from the Civic Offices, Holton Rd. Garden waste collected fortnightly Apr-Oct. A ring-and-request service Nov-Mar. Re-usable green bags and biodegradable bags available free, as above. For large household items there is a civic amenity site at Hayes Rd, Sully (near Barry Docks). The site is for use by Vale householders only.
