Barry boasts easy access to a number of the large supermarket chains, including Waitrose, Morrison’s, Lidl, Tesco and the Co-op. There are two primary shopping areas, Holton Road and Broad Street/High Street, each with well-established and active trading associations, whilst the Chamber of Trade and Commerce has members throughout the town

All the main banks and most of the largest building societies have branches in the town, mostly on Holton Road. In addition, there are the usual financial and retail services you would expect from a town of this size.
